Chris Clapp is a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Economics at the University of Chicago. Hus research interests are in applied microeconomics, primarily the fields of public, urban, environmental, and labor economics. He has also has work related to health and sports economics topics. Prior to working at UChicago, he majored in Economics and English at Clemson University and worked as a research associate for an economic consulting firm in Washington, DC. Clapp earned my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Virginia, and was previously employed as an Assistant Professor at Florida State University.
