Job Description

Summary:

The Analyst, Renewable Training Program will assist with a wide range of activities all directed toward the same goal: maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Invenergy’s Renewable Training Program. Responsibilities include working closely with the Director and Training Manager to track, monitor, and report on all aspects of training development and delivery by transforming data into actionable insights & business intelligence, and guiding data-driven decisions. Invenergy wants a team player willing to use their analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking skills to help with growth and organization as well as look for ways to improve the team’s efficiency. The position reports to the Director, Renewable Training Program.

 

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Create and manage the Renewable Training team’s training and event calendar.
  • Administrative ownership of backend training registration and enrollment processes, including allocation of instructor, classroom, lab equipment and 3rd party resources.
  • Act as the Renewable Training team’s primary Learning Management System (LMS) content owner and main point of contact for administrative support.
  • Develop and maintain reporting to support decision making on prioritization of training requests and recommendations, project planning and areas for improvement.
  • Identify potential data sources and build dashboard reports for Renewable Training team and senior management to monitor status and results of training initiatives.
  • Manage collection and tracking of training and student evaluations. Categorize and analyze data for trends and provide summarized report/updates to Director.
  • Assist Renewable Training team with analysis of business needs in response to changing technology and providing recommendations on training and non-training solutions.
  • Develop and drive automation of administrative processes and content delivery to help streamline in-house training programs such as New-Hire Training, Tech Progression and Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW).
  • Develop and execute new and/or revised internal policies and procedures to support consistency and sustainability as our team grows.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in business administration, education/training, operations support, program/project management, or related field.
  • Professional, able to maintain confidential data and sensitive information
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Intermediate to advanced technical skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems, training databases and/or SharePoint.
  • Experience in supporting implementation and evaluation processes for education (K-12, College/University or Adult/Continuing/Professional) or corporate training programs.
  • Experience or interest in Systematic Approach to Training (SAT), adult learning principles and/or kinesthetic learning.
