Rajat Kochhar is a Postdoctoral Researcher at University of Chicago’s Energy & Environment Lab. He completed his doctorate in economics in 2023 from the University of Southern California. His primary research interest is in environmental economics, in particular on understanding the role of regulatory enforcement in reducing emissions, and on understanding the political economy and institutional factors that incentivize adaptation to climate shocks.
