Opportunity
OHA is seeking college juniors (rising seniors) interested in starting a career in ESG & Sustainability on the buy-side. The 2023 summer internship position is based in New York City. Summer Analysts will spend 10 weeks working with a team that oversees the integration of ESG factors into the firm’s investment process as well as its corporate sustainability practices. The program kicks off with a four-day training program with AMT.
Primary Responsibilities
• Be part of a growing, team-oriented firm where work ethic, professionalism and initiative are of paramount importance
• Participate in a four-day training program
• Coordinate with investment, operations, and accounting on preparation of measuring OHA portfolio company financed emissions estimate calculations
• Curate sell-side research and other germane reports to aid investment team in ESG materiality analysis
• Maintain client marketing materials and internal reports
• Gain a better understanding of global credit markets
Qualifications
• High level of academic achievement; minimum GPA 3.5
• Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and a proactive, team-oriented approach
• Demonstrated interest or participation in environmental and social initiatives
• Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
