Harris Bartlett Internship Program
Thanks to the generosity of Harris Alumnus John Bartlett, EPIC offers paid internships for Harris students.
Interns have the opportunity to assist EPIC faculty with research and data collection, or to conduct their own research project under faculty guidance in the area of environmental and energy economics and policy. Research will culminate in a final report. We do our best to align interns with their preferred area of research, but cannot guarantee work with any particular faculty member. While research will be the main focus of the internship, students will also gain experience with grant and proposal writing, communications, and program coordination on an as-needed basis within the Institute.
Interns might also be asked to fulfill such responsibilities as setting up for EPIC events, including registering guests and carrying hand-held microphones at public forums and debates. Interns are invited to take active part in seminars and weekly workshops, and to attend EPIC-sponsored conferences and events for which they may be asked to draft summary reports.
EPIC internships are open to Harris School of Public Policy Students, regardless of degree, with an interest in conducting meaningful policy research on topics related to energy and the environment.
