About our panelists:

Sam Ori currently serves as the Executive Director at the Becker Friedman Institute for Economics and the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago. He has previously served as the director of the Securing America’s Future Energy and The Electrification Coalition and in the US State Department at the US Embassy in New Delhi, India. Sam completed his Masters in Public Policy at the University of Chicago.

Raymond Lodato is a professor of Environmental Studies and Public Policy at the University of Chicago. He was also a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Illinois. Ray has a PhD in Political Science and Government from the University of Chicago.

William Colegrove runs the Edwardson Social Entrepreneurship Program at Chicago Booth’s Rustandy Center for Social Sector Innovation. Previously, he worked at Ekistic ventures, a Chicago-based early stage venture firm that seeks to improve urban life. Prior to that, he spent several years in the New York City government and managed the successful reelection campaign of New York State Assemblymember Brian Kavanagh. Will completed his Masters in Public Administration, Urban Policy at Columbia University.
